Yes jason sir. I posted in every resto in ubud because i just wait for the answer of any restaurant. I really neef a job and if i call the rrstaurant i cant talk to the incharge or manager of the resto. I am in medan now. Sorry for distubing you.
The food was lovely, so was the host and everyone in the restaurant. We had a toddler who is a fuzzy eater and he was fine having his dinner.Authentic Punjabi food in the heart of Ubud.
Visit this Indian Restaurant and tried one of the most famous menu for Indian is Chicken Biriyani. I also tried Vegetable Chicken Curry and drinks Nimbu Pani and Chai. Most of the food and drinks ordered are great but Chicken Biriyani is not in good taste in this restaurant. But overall, good looking restaurant with some Indian decorations.
This was the first Indian restaurant we came across after spending 10 days in Lombok and Gili's. And it was heaven! The food here reminded me of home cooked food because it was so fresh and delicious. Their kitchen also resembles a typical Indian middle-class home kitchen and not a restaurant kitchen. May be that's why the food quality was high. We ate twice here. Came back second time again after a not-so-great experience at another nearby Indian restaurant. We tried Chole bature, dal-rice, samosas, chutney, papad, biryani/pulav, and masala tea. Happy with all!Not sure why this place has low rating on Google. I went through some of the reviews and realized that most low ratings have come from foreigners. May be they've never had authentic Indian food before.
This place is good for roti dhal. Cheap & best. But don't go for biryani
It was awesome! I don't normally like hummus, but their himmus was sooooo yummy, chai was very authentic tasty India chai, delicious chicken curry and tandoori chicken salad too! Very reasonable prices and the staff are friendly, highly recommend!
Awesome food. Out of our 3 nights stay in UBUD we were here 4 times for dinner/lunch. And ordered for delivery too. There is nothing on the menu which we did not try. Small cafe style restaurant but awesome quality food. Loved the presentation and the quantity served. Very authentic Indian taste to everything we ordered. We loved their Thaali option, parathas, samosa.. the hotel delivery was even a great experience, it was nicely packed and delivered hot.Overall a great restaurant and must go place. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.
Really great food! Fresh clean and comfy. Good selection good prices. Casual good for families. Can't wait to try breakfast next time. Great service
A complete disappointment I ordered it for delivery and couldn't been more upset, the chicken tandoori was a complete rip off, they charge Rp 69,000 ( after placing the order they informed that there's and extra 15%) for the smallest and most meatless 2 pieces of chicken I ever had, the taste wasn't good and so expensive for what it is. Never again
After waiting weeks to enjoy the food from Warung Little India, I was so disappointed to dig into my starter, samosa- can't go wrong, to find that is was boiling hot on the outside and stone cold on the inside. I wanted to give them another shot but having read all the other reviews I'll skip it. Warung Little India, you had a good name, don't lose it.
Authentic Indian food! The days we came we tried Thali, Paratha, Chicken curry, egg purgi tandoori wrap and it was every time super delicious. The meals are freshly made and tasteful. The fried ice cream was a dream! I would give 5 points but I saw someone smoking in the kitchen and that's an absolute non-go for me! Sorry.
Nice little restaurant. We were starving for Indian food during our trip in Bali, visited Little India after trying couple of Indian restaurants, but food here out-tastes all others. It's less expensive as well.
One of my go-to spots for comfort food. The samosas are flakey and delicious! I have tried most items on her menu and am a fan of her dal, her chaat, the samosas, her lunch breads, the chicken tikka salad, her okra is a treat, and her baked goodies are lovely with chai. I took a cooking class from Siti and had an amazing experience. She makes the best corn fritters around! We made a variety of classic Indonesian dishes and feasted until we were stuffed. She took care of the menu and the market, all we had to do was give her a few details. It was my friend’s highlight of her visit and one of my favorite cooking classes yet!
Food is tasty but nothingn outstanding. But the place is overpriced plus they extra charge 15% which is hidden on the menu... Portions are small so you end up paying a decent amount of money to don't get full
Surprisingly good food, especially the chaats - pretty much bang on in terms of authenticity!
Ate at a lot of Indian restaurants here in Bali, the taste goes down with cost but in Waring Little India, food is very good and the cost is apt. We ate thali, paratha and the sides that came were awesome. Last but not least, we ordered masala chai and it was the best 5 stars without a doubt. Remember to tell them "less spicy"👌
Great food ! One of the best Indians I've ever tasted (after living in India for 6 years).
It's one of the good places that offers Indian food. The rates are reasonable, and taste is also good. Can be relied upon for people who are looking for Indian cuisine. Avoid other restaurants that claim they offer Indian cuisine. This and roti daal are the ones that helped us survive. P.S: We are vegetarians!
Not authentic indian, poor taste, biryani need more masala, i tasted only ginger, curd ok, Samosa chaat ok, i like the masala Chay, The place very small and really like small house at india, good service. Price not to expensiv.
Nice ambience.. Food is ok
It’s a small restaurant with very basic furniture. No hifi stuff. We ordered Samosa, Daal Tadka (Lentil), Chicken Tandoori, Naans & Lassi. The food was tasty & carries the Indian touch in terms of taste. The lassi was also salty (like the original one). Only the Naans left a little to be desired. Guess you can’t have everything perfect. People looking for Indian food (& Indian music/songs) in Bali can come here to eat.
Awesome food! The interior design is made with so much love, simply awesome. Authentic Indian food to a super (Ubud) cheap price
Good food & reasonable price. 🙏
worst indian food i have ever tried! tasteless and expensive
Tasted Masala dosa and instantly floored with the tasty sambhar and chutneys. IDR 50K for masala dosa is totally worth Must try.
Best place to get Indian food in Ubud. I loved the Chai they offered.
Warung Little India is an Indian based restaurant in Ubud, Bali. It is traditionally decorated from inside. The food which is served here is yummilicious and very delicious. We ordered a thali and got a samosa, Dal , chaatis and curd that too in leafy utensils. The best part of this restaurant is their presentation, the food when served in leafy utensils looks so delicious. No one could stop themselves to eat it. The flavour in food is typically Indian that you don't feel like you're eating outside of India. Indian food lovers must go there once. Enjoy your visit ❤️
it tastes good, suitable for Indian guests who come to the Ubud area if you can't eat Indonesian food. here provide indian food
Food was bad. I like Indian kitchen, but all three ordered dishes was bad. And also not so cheap. Also it was very warm, fans worked, but without dig effect.
Service is ok, food is not. Overpriced as for this place and nothing from that I ordered were tasty. Also they charge extra 15% but I didn't see it mentioned in menu. Maybe just didn't check carefully
It is literally like a little India. Have been here a few times and have ordered delivery too. Really amazing to see what they have done with the interiors (really old movie posters on the wall). Food... all I can say is go and try for yourself, its like eating home cooked food but in a restaurant. Staff are amazing. Place is always in top condition (clean and tidy). Love it that they use banana leaves to make bowls for delivery service (very environment friendly).
I ordered takeout, the curry was very bland, not much taste to it and the mint sauce is like English mint sauce, so odd. The naan bread was like a cross between a poppadom and a chapati, which isn't how a naan is supposed to be. Masala wedges were good though, packed a bit of heat and were the best part about the dish, which shouldn't be the case in an Indian restaurant!
Delicious food, must try samosa chaat and very good staff
Great place with spirit and very delicious food. Best price in Ubud also!
Food is just okay. If you are damn hungry and have no patience to look for others, check in, it's decent. It's the only place where I found Indian Tea (tea made with Milk), where as at other places tea was just made with hot water. It's bit cheaper too. However you have better Indian hotels nearby like Roti & Daal which costs you bit more (~30k IDR) but really good in taste.
Nice food. If you are looking for Indian in Bali
Food was okayish.. better to try some other Indian restaurant..!!
This place is a hidden little gem of India in Bali. I’ve been in India in 1993 and I felt a same feelings in this restaurant. The taste of the spice, capati, curry, and fresh drinks are genuine. The price a bit expensive, but you must visit this place in Ubud area
My wife, 2 year-old son and I went there for a late lunch on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I was under-whelmed. We had to change our order because they did not have what we wanted. We also ordered Basmati Rice and were served normal, run-of-the-mill white rice with our food. There was also a radio in the corner playing more static than music. The food was OK but it is not their fault. I had just eaten at 3 AMAZING Indian restaurants and Warung Little India's food paled in comparison. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the place is SUPER cute, with old movie posters adorning the walls and there is a BEAUTIFUL outside seating area.
Order took like 35 mins, fish Tikka was ok, I disliked the vegetable curry. I found the price did not match the quality. 15%tax+service added at the end.
Did not like the taste of indian food, no salt, no spice. Samosa was not even like samosa shape. Aaloo chaat was tasteless. Had thali, only dal and chapati was fine but rest were not good. But you can try if u r looking for OK food at low prices.
Great spot! 60k vegetarian platter that had me stuffed. Cute peacock chairs outside.
The food we received was excellent in taste and quality. Portions are Great, we got really full😊 Prices are around 40-70k for per portion💲large bintang 45k🍺The biryani tasted just like we make it our self, and the roti was really fresh and delicious (and really big🤣) Service was fast and the beer was so cold it instantly froze/turned to slush when i poured to fast🤣 Had to wait a minute to pour the rest, but it was really Nice to finally have super cold Bintang😆If this review helped, please leave a 👍 to support this community😍
It serves Indian dishes, but the taste is not Indian, probably because of oil. But even though its a good place to give a try. They serve Indian Tea, which is definitely recommendable. Staff is quite friendly and understand english, so communication too is not an issue. They have a verity of dishes, and minor changes in ingredients & cooking style could make it much better. Price are reasonable.
Nice indian food
Good pannajbi food. Try the biriyani
Good price for great taste and portion for the thali plate and tandoori wrap. The fried ice cream was neither hot or cold though. Service was very friendly. The surroundings could use a little dusting but overall it was satisfying.
You test Indian food in Bali so visit defiently this place
I’m unsure why this place has negative reviews. Best tarka dal I’ve ever eaten. Naan was cooked to perfection and the iced hibiscus tea and hot chia were equally divine! Ambience could be better as place a little noisy however, the food more than made up for this! I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!
Fun facts: *Super friendly staffs! (+ good looking :D) They will answer every question from you with low voice and polite attitude. *The taste & price aren't disappointing at all. It fits with my Indonesian (and perhaps with other South East Asian colleagues) tounge, then I agree if this called the 'Bali-Indian' taste. *Back to nature. They serving the naan with a sheet of banana leaf as pad.The order:*Eat= Tarka Dal + Naan*Drink= Chai (hot)Plus:*They offering Catering, Cooking Lessons, & Dabba (as seen on the photo of the menu book's backcover). #disconnect2plastic mission with reusable lunchbox (Dabba).*Ambience: Quite, located not in the main road; classic Indian music back-sound; fit for any activities (casual meeting, dating, studying, & working, etc.).*Facilities: Up to 20 customers.
Service was great. Food was a fusion of Indian and Indonesian flavors, and only so so. However the samosas were amazing! Prices were reasonable.
